Here is the Schedule for our Spring BBQs:
CHECK-IN DAY: 3 PM to 7 PM - Check-in at Adventurer Inn in Wildwood Crest, NJ; set up sewing areas for classes in our conference room (ask where it is at check-in); Dinner on your own. • 7 to 7:30 PM - Welcome Reception with Waffles & Ice Cream Party; bring your favorite snack to share! • 7:30 to 8 PM - Introductions; Show ‘n Tell of previous projects from BBQs. • 8 to 10 PM - Merry May’s mini workshop 8 PM to ??? - Continue visiting, setting up, and/or EATING!! FULL DAY: 7 to 9 AM - Breakfast in restaurant downstairs. Gratuity not included: we suggest $2 or $3 per person. 9 AM to 12 Noon - Morning Session 12 Noon to 1:30 PM - Lunch (on your own, or order out “Dutch Treat”) 1:30 to 4:30 PM - Afternoon Session 4:45 to 6:15 PM - Dinner from a local restaurant (we provide; gratuity included) 6:30 PM to ??? - Eat some more, visit, go to bed, and/or sew, sew, sew!! Stay up as late as you like. HALF DAY: 7 to 9 AM Breakfast in restaurant downstairs. Gratuity not included: we suggest $2 per person. 9 AM to 12 Noon - Morning Session 12 Noon to 1:30 PM - Lunch (on your own, or order out “Dutch Treat”) 2:00 PM - Weekend ends; have a safe trip home! PRICING: Our Fee: $150 $75 Deposit per person to be submitted to us with Registration. $25 of this deposit is non-refundable. You must list your roommate(s) when registering if you are sharing a room with someone else! REFUND POLICY:
BALANCE DUE: APRIL 15. $10 Late fee if final payment is sent after April 15. Supply Lists will be sent once you have chosen your workshops, and your Deposit has been received. Directions to the Adventurer Inn will be sent about a month before the BBQ weekend when we send you your final statement. **** There is a $40 fee for any returned checks **** HOTEL: You must make your own hotel reservation with the Adventurer Inn in Wildwood Crest, NJ. Be sure to tell them you are with Merry May's Quilting Group!! |
First Evening (Optional) Class
with Merry May: Composition Notebook Needle Book All Levels Make this adorable, easy project in only one evening. It's a fun place to keep your hand sewing needles as well as a needle threader & a small spool of thread.

Jelly Stars with Lorraine Fenstermacher Confident Beginner & up Got Jelly Rolls??? Here’s the perfect pattern to use one of them up! Makes a Throw-size quilt top. Pattern Purchase required. 
Illusions Quilt
with Merry May Confident Beginner & up This is a Free Spirit pattern that features fabric that was designed by Tim Holtz, but you can use whatever fabrics you wish! I used a variety of fabrics from my stash that somewhat resembled those that are shown on the supply list. It’s a cool quilt, and it’s not as hard as it looks. (Free pattern.) 
Half-Day Classes:
Bitsy Box with Lorraine Fenstermacher All Levels There’s a reason why they call these “bitsy,” and it’s because it is only 2½” square! The pattern says “You won’t be able to make just one!” And it’s “The perfect little project to make you happy.” Pattern Purchase Required. 
A Quilter's Pack 'N Play
with Merry May All Levels This is the perfect bag to carry your 18” by 24” cutting mat to classes. Merry has a supply of several colors of the “pet screen” mesh as well as 1½” wide webbing and long zippers in case you need any of them. Pattern Purchase Required. |
