These are our Classes for Fall 2024:
Friday Evening (Optional) Class with Merry May: Fleece Scarf with Zippered Pockets All Levels* We used Minkee to make our sample, and it is warm and cozy! It also has TWO zippered pockets, so you can keep your cell phone safe as you go for a walk on those brisk Fall days that are just around the corner.
Saturday Classes: Ring Around the Posies Quilt (TWO-Day Class) with Lorraine Fenstermacher Confident Beginner & Up This wreath of flowers is made using a Jelly Roll or 2 1/2" strips in patchwork and stitch and flip corners for this 64 x 64" quilt. The flowers are made in 4 equal units that are rotated around the center, leaving a lovely place to sew decorative quilting in the center. Accent corners and center sashing compliment the wreath shape. Pattern purchase required.
Cork (or not!) Crossbody Bag (One-Day Class) with Merry May Confident Beginner & Up If you haven’t worked with Cork Fabric before, you’re in for a sweet surprise! It’s much easier to work with than you think. It also doesn’t fray, and it’s sturdy and water resistant. This little bag is big enough for your phone, plus it has an outside pocket and a couple of inside card holder pockets. And did we mention it has an adjustable strap, too??
Sunday Classes (Half-Day): Pet Screen Beach Bag with Merry May All Levels If you haven’t worked with Pet Screen before, here’s your chance! This is a great bag to take to the beach because the sand just sifts right out of it! We’ll add a zippered pocket for the important stuff, too.

FRIDAY, September 26 2 PM to 7 PM - Check-in at Adventurer Inn in Wildwood Crest, NJ; set up sewing areas for classes in our conference room (ask where it is at check-in); Dinner on your own. • 7 to 7:30 PM - Welcome Reception with Waffles & Ice Cream Party; bring your favorite snack to share! • 7:30 to 8 PM - Introductions; Show ‘n Tell of previous projects from BBQs. • 8 to 10 PM - Optional Mini workshop 8 PM to ??? - Continue visiting, setting up, and/or EATING!!
SATURDAY, September 27 - 7 to 9 AM - Breakfast in restaurant downstairs with coupon from the hotel. Gratuity notincluded: we suggest $2.50-$3 per person. 9 AM to 12 Noon - Morning Session 12 Noon to 1:30 PM - Lunch (on your own, or order out “Dutch Treat”) 1:30 to 4:30 PM - Afternoon Session 4:45 to 6:15 PM - Dinner at a local restaurant (we provide; gratuity included) 6:30 PM to ??? - Eat some more, visit, go to bed, and/or sew, sew, sew!! Stay up as late as you like.
SUNDAY, September 28 - 7 to 9 AM Breakfast in restaurant downstairs. Gratuity notincluded: we suggest $2.50-$3 per person. 9 AM to 12 Noon - Morning Session 12 Noon to 1 PM - Lunch (on your own, or order out “Dutch Treat”) 1:00 PM - Weekend ends; have a safe trip home!
PRICING: Our Fee: $175 $75 Deposit per person to be submitted to us with Registration. $25 of this deposit is non-refundable. You must list your roommate(s) when registering if you are sharing a room with someone else! REFUND POLICY:
100% refund until August 31, less $25 non-refundable deposit.
50% refund less $25 from September 1 through September 15.

Supply Lists will be sent once you have chosen your workshops, and your Deposit has been received. Directions to the Adventurer Inn will be sent about a month before the BBQ weekend when we send you your final statement. **** There is a $40 fee for any returned checks ****
HOTEL: You must make your own hotel reservation with the Adventurer Inn in Wildwood Crest, NJ. Be sure to tell them you are with Merry May's Quilting Group!!
